-
- You are right in that there aren't as many MacApp questions on USENET however
- the support of a newsgroup might encourage others to use it. I believe that
- the more support something gets the more people use it. This would show how
- great (or not) MacApp is. Undoubtably, there will be some messages on what is
- best but that should encourage the continued growth and change of MacApp. I
- know the MacApp team is not falling asleep, but the more input whether good or
- bad encourages people to legitimatize how they have done things.
-
- As for the bandwidth problem, I have the support of a Internet systems
- administrator who is willing to set up an alt.comp.mac.programmer.macapp
- newsgroup. This would get a foot in the door and as interest is increased the
- group could be legitimatized by a complete vote. This is obviously a long term
- growth pattern, but it must start somewhere.
-
- You are right about the technical problems with multiple messages. That has
- obviously got to worked out. Five duplicate messages is too much.
-
- I continue to leave the floor open for discussion.
